OT Business Application Engineer (MES-Serialization, Remote, English, Slovenian)

Job Summary
Provide MES and OT application support across serialization, data historian, and related business applications. Responsibilities include reviewing/updating SDLC documentation (URS/FRS/HDS), disaster recovery planning and testing for OT systems, first-line and on-call support, periodic task reporting, driving improvements across shopfloor applications, coordinating with client teams, and vendor/supplier coordination. Expertise in MES/OSI-PI or general process control, serialization knowledge, data interfaces (OPC DA, A&E, UA, Modbus), PLC/SCADA, IT security, and bilingual fluency in Slovenian and English are required. Candidate will act as site representative for hardware or software support and contribute to project implementations and operational feedback. Familiarity with data historian operations, reporting for PAT, and SDLC documentation leadership is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
- Experience in a cGMP environment is essential
- MES/OSI-PI or General Process Control knowledge
- Deep understanding of serialization and understanding of manufacturing processes
- Good knowledge of process data interfaces such as OPC DA, A&E, UA, Modbus
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools usage and automation
- Knowledge of PLC/SCADA, Hardware and Networking
- Understanding of IT Security/cybersecurity
- Ability to prioritize the criticality of support issues as they arise and act accordingly
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and reporting attitude
- Handle and operate efficiently under pressure
- Fluency in Slovenian and English
- Criminal Record (not older than 3 months)
