Job Summary
Lead and oversee automation projects from concept to completion, designing, programming, and maintaining PLC and SCADA systems with a preference for Allen Bradley. Ensure seamless integration of automation systems with MES, PI, and other higher-level plant systems while troubleshooting and optimizing manufacturing equipment for improved efficiency and reliability. Provide technical leadership to manage a small team, collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, and maintain IT infrastructure related to automation including robust networking and cybersecurity practices. Support Industry 4.0 initiatives and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. This full-time role requires 5+ years of automation engineering experience and 1-2 years of leadership experience, located in Warsaw, IN.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in automation engineering
- Strong knowledge of PLC and SCADA programming
- Familiarity with a range of manufacturing equipment and industrial automation systems
- Proficiency in IT systems and networking
- Experience integrating automation systems with MES, PI, or other higher-level plant systems
- Minimum 1-2 years of leadership experience, managing a small team
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
