Job Summary
Osteopathic Family Medicine/Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine physician needed to join Berkshire Osteopathic Health in Pittsfield, MA. Provide comprehensive osteopathic primary and specialty care, emphasize preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and acute care, with opportunities to teach OMT and participate in UNECOM ONMM3 residency activities. Role includes lectures, precepting and mentorship of medical students and residents, potential leadership/program director opportunities, a robust benefits package with sign-on bonus, loan repayment, relocation, CME, ample PTO, and employer-sponsored insurance and retirement plans. Work within a four-physician team, with a strong osteopathic community, hospital consults including newborn nursery, and a balance of primary and specialty care under a supportive academic-affiliated practice. Core faculty appointment within ONMM3 Residency and UNECOM faculty appointment are available, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
Required Qualifications
- DO/MD Osteopathic Physician licensed or eligible to practice in Massachusetts
- experience in Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine
- demonstrated teaching/mentorship in academic settings
- ability to teach OMT and participate in residency program
- strong patient-centered care philosophy
- eligibility for UNECOM/ONMM3 appointments (beneficial)
