Job Summary
Beged Kefet Teacher to teach Hebrew to K-12 students; develop reading, writing, speaking and listening skills; implement Hebrew curriculum focusing on Israeli Culture, songs, literature, art and Judaic holidays and traditions. Create and implement lesson plans for each class based on program goals; assign, collect and evaluate homework; maintain up-to-date records and grades on the school website; communicate with parents to review concerns; address parent questions and inform Headmaster when relevant. Requires Bachelor Degree or equivalent in teaching, languages or liberal arts; 1-2 years of teaching in a K-12 school; NETA Hebrew Language Teaching Certification; Fluent Hebrew; knowledge of Israeli Culture; cleared Background Check; Pediatric First Aid and CPR Certification; strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency with Microsoft Office. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in teaching, languages or liberal arts
- 1-2 years of teaching in a K-12 school
- NETA Hebrew Language Teaching Certification required
- Fluent in Hebrew (Speaking, Reading and Writing)
- Pediatric First Aid and CPR Certified
- Cleared Background Check (Fingerprints, Medical/TB exam)
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Microsoft Office knowledge
