Job Summary
Partner with parents and school communities to support children's development through play in fun, engaging environments at Helping Hands Oxley. Deliver morning coverage from 6:30am to 9:00am or afternoon coverage from 2:30pm to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, while ensuring child safety and safeguarding principles are upheld. Provide hands-on experience with primary school-aged children, utilizing strong communication skills and a genuine love for working with kids. Complete mandatory National Child Safety Training prior to onboarding and maintain valid Australian work rights. Earn competitive hourly rates ranging from $27 to $38 plus super, with additional daily pay for split shifts. This role offers clear pathways to progress into Assistant Coordinator or Coordinator positions and includes paid parental leave and discounted childcare benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid Australian work rights
- National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
- Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check
- Hold or be willing to obtain a state working-with-children check
Desired Qualifications
- Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 1 or 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
- A genuine love for working with children
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
