Job Summary
OSHC Permanent Educator at Golden Beach in the Junior Adventures Group (JAG) program. Support children’s development through play, build ongoing relationships with families and school communities, and collaborate with the team across the service. Role involves split shifts before and after school, with potential extra hours during school holidays; pathway into teaching and education-related careers; training and background checks are part of the onboarding process. Role emphasizes safeguarding, child safety, and creating a positive learning environment with flexible schedule to fit around study commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
- Blue Card
- Australian working rights
- National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
- Desirable but not mandatory: Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
