Job Summary
Partner with parents and school communities to support children's development through play in fun, engaging environments. Create exciting, unforgettable experiences for primary school-aged children while working around university timetables, placements, and other commitments. Deliver morning shifts from 6:30am to 9:00am or afternoon shifts from 2:30pm to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday, with guaranteed minimum hours of 15 per week. Earn competitive hourly pay ranging from $27 to $38 plus super, along with an additional $21 daily for split shifts. Complete mandatory National Child Safety Training and hold a valid working-with-children check.
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid Australian work rights
- National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
- Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check
- Hold or be willing to obtain a state working-with-children check
Desired Qualifications
- Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 1 or 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
- A genuine love for working with children
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities
