Job Summary
Lead the Yarra Junction OSHC program by fostering safe, welcoming environments where children explore, play, and grow. Plan and lead daily activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and skill-building while building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Guide and mentor a team of Educators to deliver exceptional care and learning experiences, ensuring every child's safety, health, and development remain top priorities. Manage split shifts from 7:00 am to 9:00 am and 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm, including two weekly hours for planning and admin.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in childcare or early childhood education
- Relevant certifications (CPR, First Aid)
- Australian work rights
- Diploma level qualification as recognised by ACECQA completed or working towards
- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to making a positive difference
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Child safety screening prior to appointment
