Job Summary
Design and lead a vibrant, child-centred program featuring STEM, sport, cooking, arts, and crafts for children aged 5-12. Take ownership of rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration, supported by a dedicated Service Manager. Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported and motivated. Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to ensure the service continues to grow and thrive. This permanent, full-time role includes split shifts (6:30am–9:00am and 2:30pm–6:00pm) plus 10 hours of dedicated non-contact administrative time. Competitive pay starts at $46 per hour with super, plus a $1,250 retention bonus in your first year.
Required Qualifications
- Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
- National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
- A natural leader who enjoys guiding a team and helping others grow
- Strong communication skills
- A team player who inspires others and encourages growth
- You have (or are willing to obtain) a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Australian work rights
- Must be able to work across split shifts, Monday to Friday
- Must be available for 10 hours of dedicated non-contact administrative time
- Must be available for Rise Then Shine: 6:30am – 9:00am
- Must be available for Stay and Play: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
- Must be available for School Holidays: Block shifts between 6:30am – 6:00pm
