Job Summary
Lead a team of Educators and oversee an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years. Design and deliver vibrant, child-centred experiences including STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts. Take ownership of rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration, while partnering with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to ensure the service grows and thrives. Build a positive, inclusive team culture where staff feel supported and motivated. This permanent, full-time role involves split shifts Monday to Friday, including 25 hours of dedicated non-contact administrative time. Potential for promotion to Service Manager exists within six months.
Required Qualifications
- Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
- Proven experience in a leadership role within OSHC or childcare industry
- National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
- A natural leader who enjoys guiding a team and helping others grow
- Strong communication skills
- A team player who inspires others and encourages growth
- You have (or are willing to obtain) a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Australian work rights
- Must be available for split shifts, Monday to Friday, including 25 hours of dedicated non‐contact administrative time
