Job Summary
Lead a team of Educators and oversee before- and after-school programs for children aged 5–12, creating dynamic, child-centered activities including STEM, sports, cooking, arts, and crafts. Manage daily operations, team rosters, and compliance with the National Quality Framework and Child Safe Standards while fostering a positive team culture. Partner with parents and school stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure a safe, welcoming environment. Work Monday to Friday across split shifts (7:00am–9:00am and 2:30pm–6:00pm) in a growing service supporting approximately 50 children daily. Receive mentorship from a Regional Manager and access to paid training pathways.
Required Qualifications
- proven leadership experience
- sound professional judgement
- strong knowledge of compliance requirements, including the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and Child Safe Standards
- confident coaching and supporting Educators
- building a positive team culture
- managing day-to-day priorities
- partnering with families and school stakeholders
- Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check
- State working-with-children check
- Australian working rights
- National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding
- WA First Qualified Educator - Have completed a relevant qualification to work as a First Qualified Educator in WA in accordance with ACECQA
