Job Summary
Partner with parents and school communities to support children's development through play in fun, engaging environments. Conduct afternoon sessions across Monday to Friday at OSHC services in Kardinya and Surrounds, with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday availability required. Deliver care during Rise then Shine (6:30am–8:50am), Stay and Play (2:45pm–6:00pm), and Holiday Program (7:00am–6:00pm) shifts. Build confidence, leadership, and behaviour management skills while working with primary school-aged children. Complete National Child Safety Training via Gecko prior to onboarding and hold a State working-with-children check. Gain hands-on experience to support pathways into teaching, education support, psychology, and childcare careers.
Required Qualifications
- WA Qualified Educator - Working towards or have completed a relevant qualification to work as a Qualified Educator in WA in accordance with ACECQA
- National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
- Australian working rights
- State working-with-children check
- Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
- A genuine passion for working with children
- A team player with aspirations to grow and learn in the role
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon availability required
Desired Qualifications
- Full training and ongoing support provided — no OSHC experience required
