Job Summary
Conduct morning and afternoon care shifts for primary school children at Helping Hands Cedar Creek, supporting development through play in the Rise then Shine and Stay and Play programs. Deliver engaging experiences while partnering with parents and school communities to facilitate children's navigation of their future. Maintain availability for at least three afternoon shifts weekly, with extra hours available during school holidays. Complete mandatory National Child Safety Training and hold a valid Australian work right. Earn competitive hourly pay ranging from $33 to $47 plus super, with additional split shift bonuses. Join a supportive team offering clear pathways to leadership roles such as Assistant Coordinator or Coordinator.
Required Qualifications
- National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
- Must be available for at least 3 afternoon shifts per week
- A genuine love for working with children
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- A team player with aspirations to take on leadership opportunities
- Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!) and a state working-with-children check
- Must have valid Australian work rights
Desired Qualifications
- Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 1 or 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
