Job Summary
Design and lead a vibrant, child-centred program for children aged 5-12, featuring engaging experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts, and crafts. Assist with rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration while building a positive, inclusive team culture for Educators. Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to ensure the service continues to grow and thrive. You will work split shifts Monday to Friday across Rise Then Shine and Stay and Play services, supported by an experienced Coordinator and Regional Manager. This permanent part-time role (20 hours per week) requires a 2 Year Qualified Educator qualification in QLD, National Child Safety Training, and Australian work rights.
Required Qualifications
- Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
- National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
- Communicates clearly and confidently
- Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
- Has Australian work rights
- Must be available for split shifts, Monday to Friday
- Must be available for Rise Then Shine: 6:30am – 9:00am
- Must be available for Stay and Play: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
- Must be available for School Holidays: Block shifts between 6:30am – 6:00pm
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
