Job Summary
Design and lead a vibrant, child-centred before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years, incorporating STEM, sport, cooking, arts, and crafts. Assist with rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration while building an inclusive team culture for Educators. Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to ensure the service grows and thrives. This permanent part-time role involves split shifts from 6:30am–9:00am and 2:30pm–6:00pm, with block shifts during school holidays. You must hold (or obtain) a National Police Check and Working with Children check, and be working towards or have completed a qualification as a 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD.
Required Qualifications
- Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
- National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
- Communicates clearly and confidently
- Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
- Has Australian work rights
- Must be able to work split shifts, Monday to Friday
- Must be available for Rise Then Shine: 6:30am – 9:00am
- Must be available for Stay and Play: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
- Must be available for Block shifts between 6:30am – 6:00pm during School Holidays
- Must be able to work part-time (30 hours per week)
