Job Summary
Design and lead a vibrant, child-centred before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12, featuring engaging STEM, sport, cooking, arts, and crafts activities. Assist with rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration while building an inclusive team culture for educators. Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to ensure the service continues to grow and thrive. Work split shifts Monday to Friday, including Rise Then Shine (6:30am–9:00am), Stay and Play (2:30pm–6:00pm), and school holiday blocks, earning $39–$42 per hour. Supported by an experienced Coordinator and Regional Manager, this role requires a 2 Year Qualified Educator qualification in QLD, National Child Safety Training, and Australian work rights.
Required Qualifications
- Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
- National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
- Communicates clearly and confidently
- Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
- Has Australian work rights
