Job Summary
Design and lead a vibrant, child-centred before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12, featuring STEM, sport, cooking, arts, and crafts. Assist with rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration while building an inclusive team culture for Educators. Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to ensure service growth. This permanent, part-time role involves split shifts Monday to Friday, including Rise Then Shine (6:30am–9:00am), Stay and Play (2:30pm–6:00pm), and school holiday blocks. Pay is $39–$42 per hour including allowances and super. You must be working towards or have completed a 2 Year Qualified Educator qualification in QLD, hold National Child Safety Training, and possess Australian work rights.
Required Qualifications
- Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2 Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA
- National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
- Communicates clearly and confidently
- Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
- Has Australian work rights
- Must be available for split shifts, Monday to Friday
- Must be available for service hours including Rise Then Shine: 6:30am – 9:00am, Stay and Play: 2:30pm – 6:00pm, and School Holidays: Block shifts between 6:30am – 6:00pm
