Fabricate, mold, measure, and fit orthotics and prosthetics for patients while assisting the CPO, CP, or CO with care delivery. Manage the workflow of milling and carver systems, including digital modification of foam molds, and pull plastics for fabrication. Clean and shape braces, repair modifications, and prepare molds for cutting. Maintain lab equipment, ensure proper functionality, and keep the lab and exam rooms clean and orderly. Stock exam rooms with medical and clinical supplies. Document patient charts using the EMR system and adhere to Nemours policies and procedures. Requires five years of experience in modifying plaster molds and custom brace design, along with BLS certification.
