Job Summary
Orthotic Fitter role providing on-site customer service and orthotic fitting under physician prescriptions; collaborates with orthotic practitioners, performs device fitting and minor modifications, trains patients on device use, handles patient education and ensures device efficacy and satisfaction, travels to facilities and, occasionally, patient homes, while complying with applicable laws and company policies; requires high school diploma or equivalent plus orthotics certification or NATA/BOC certification with a college degree, and 2 years of related experience, plus a valid driver's license; involves frequent travel within assigned facilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency plus current and unrestricted Certification in Orthotics
- Or Certified through National Athletic Trainers Association/BOC plus a college degree
- Or must obtain a national certification within one year of accepting the position
- Two (2) years successful experience in providing services under the supervision of a certified practitioner
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in providing customer services in a health care setting, medical office, sports rehab, fitness, or retail environment
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license from state of residence
