Job Summary
Prevent, identify, and evaluate language and communication difficulties in school-aged children. Offer support to school teams and parents for students with autism, intellectual disabilities, fetal alcohol syndrome, and developmental delays. Develop speech therapy intervention plans and supervise specialized pedagogical assistants. Contribute to creating personalized learning plans (PAPs) and participate in interdisciplinary exchanges with specialized services and external agencies. Deliver training for teaching and support staff. Requires a master's degree in speech pathology, membership in the College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia, and bilingual fluency in French and English. Contract runs from September 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.
Required Qualifications
- Avoir complété une maîtrise en orthophonie d'une université reconnue
- Être membre du College of Speech and Hearing Professionals of British Columbia
- Maitriser le français et l'anglais, à l'oral et à l'écrit
- Être disponible pour se déplacer dans les écoles du CSF et avoir accès à un véhicule pour se déplacer
Desired Qualifications
