Job Summary
Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families. Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, and supervising assigned team members. Promotes patient independence by establishing care goals, teaching self-care skills, and answering questions. Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards and following state board of nursing regulations. Requires a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice, a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred), and Basic Life Support certification. Schedule includes nights, 24 hours weekly, 7pm-7am (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice
- Valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules (Wisconsin)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
