Job Summary
Provide specialized inpatient nursing care for patients undergoing total joint replacements, fracture repairs, trauma surgeries, and recovery from gastric bypass or sleeve gastrectomy procedures. Collaborate with therapy services to promote rehabilitation, mobility, and independence for musculoskeletal conditions. Participate in Mercy's Innovation Unit by piloting new ideas and technologies to enhance workflow and improve the patient experience. Requires current Missouri RN license, LPN license, or temporary permit, plus Basic Life Support certification. Offers up to $10,000 sign-on incentive for RNs and $2,000 for LPNs, with shift differentials and tuition reimbursement available.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- Current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State of Missouri
- Basic Life Support (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association
