Job Summary
Perform diagnostic radiographic exams on patients using specialized equipment while verifying identification, positioning patients, and ensuring image quality and radiation safety. Operate imaging equipment and information systems effectively, provide patient education and comfort, and maintain accurate documentation for coding and consent. Collaborate with radiologists and clinic staff to support efficient patient flow, report equipment issues, and assist with quality control processes. Work Monday through Wednesday from 8:00am to 5:00pm at the Riverton Orthopedic Clinic, with eligibility for additional shifts across SouthRidge areas. Requires ARRT certification, state license, and BLS.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification
- Radiologic technologist license in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist and perform the function of an MA in a clinic or InstaCare setting
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years radiology experience
- IV Certification
