Job Summary

Evaluate and manage acute traumatic injuries, including fractures, dislocations, and soft tissue damage. Perform orthopedic trauma surgeries such as fracture fixation, joint reconstruction, and limb salvage procedures, while providing non-operative care via casting, bracing, and physical therapy referrals. Participate in trauma call rotations covering nights, weekends, and holidays within emergency and trauma center settings. Coordinate care with trauma surgeons, intensivists, neurosurgeons, and rehabilitation specialists, and contribute to trauma committee meetings and program development. Maintain accurate medical records and engage in quality improvement initiatives. Requires fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma, board certification, and a 7-day on, 7-day off rotation schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification/eligibility
  • Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Trauma
  • Current state medical license and DEA registration
  • Demonstrated clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and effective communication skills
  • 7 days on, 7 days off
