Job Summary
Provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma surgery coverage with day shifts from 6am to 2pm on weekdays and 24-hour call shifts on weekends. Manage Level 1 trauma cases with OR coverage, ICU rounding, hospital rounding, overnight call coverage, and post-operative visits. Support ED consultations and post-operative care for an average daily volume of 20 patients. Requires ACLS or ATLS certification, experience with reductions and washout procedures, and proficiency in the eClinical Works EMR system. Located at a Level 1 trauma center in South Carolina with dedicated OR access and ICU capabilities.
