Orthopedic Technician

Apply and adjust fiberglass casts, splints, and orthopedic traction equipment per physician orders while educating patients on proper care. Dispense DME, maintain accurate logs and spreadsheets, and place supply orders based on calculated par levels. Collaborate with the Authorization Team to determine patient financial responsibility and communicate directly with patients regarding their care. Organize and stock received inventory efficiently, monitoring daily levels to ensure clinic readiness and reporting new usage trends to the Practice Manager. Assist in other areas of the clinic as needed. This Full-Time role is located at the Fleming Island clinic in Jacksonville, FL.
