Orthopedic Technician

Apply and adjust fiberglass casts, splints, and orthopedic traction equipment per physician orders while educating patients on proper care of these items. Maintain knowledge of clinic DME products, keep accurate logs and spreadsheets, and place supply orders according to calculated par levels. Collaborate with the Authorization Team to determine patient financial responsibility, organize and stock received inventory, and monitor daily levels to ensure clinic readiness. Report new usage trends to the Practice Manager and assist in other areas as needed. This full-time role at our Fleming Island clinic requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred experience in a medical facility and proficiency in inventory management.
