Orthopedic Surgical Tech, PRN

The Orthopedic Surgical Tech is responsible for filling the surgical scrub role during minor and major surgical procedures, assisting physicians and nurses with various medical and technical tasks. Key functions include decision making on equipment sterilization, maintaining patient confidentiality, and adhering to hospital practice standards. The position also involves maintaining a safe environment, performing sponge and instrument counts, and ensuring cleanliness and availability of supplies in the operating room. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, certification as a Surgical Technologist, and current BCLS certification.
