Job Summary
Full-time general orthopedic surgeon to join a busy practice in Idaho. The role involves patient care with a minimum of 32 patient contact hours per week plus procedures, rounding, and consults, along with general Orthopaedic ED call. The team is supported by two Orthopedic Sports Medicine physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers. The department offers hospital-based imaging services (24/7 radiology, in-house CT, after-hours ultrasound and nuclear medicine, MRI), and access to Comprehensive Breast Center and digital imaging. The candidate will provide orthopedic care across the service line, participate in on-call duties, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- Successful completion of accredited residency
- Board certification through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) - or obtain within 3 years
- Idaho & Oregon medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC-Ontario and SAMC-Nampa
- Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
- Willingness to take general orthopedic call
