Job Summary
Be one of the founding surgeons for a newly established orthopedic group within St. Peters Health Partners Medical Associates, joining as a fellowship-trained, board-certified/eligible Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine with Shoulder Arthroscopy focus. Full-time positions with surgeries at St. Peters Hospital (Albany, NY) and Samaritan Hospital (Troy, NY), supported by experienced inpatient/outpatient APP teams and a robust referral network. Opportunity to help build and grow a new orthopedic service line in a hospital-employed setting, offering long-term stability, a 3-year guaranteed compensation ($725,000–$800,000 for experienced surgeons), a starting $25,000 sign-on, relocation assistance up to $25,000, CME allowance, tail malpractice coverage, and PSLF-eligible loan repayment. Beneficial live/work environment in the Capital Region with access to outdoor recreation and family-friendly communities. Requirements include fellowship training in Orthopedic Sports Medicine, board certification/eligibility, and 5–10 years post-training experience, plus strong shoulder arthroscopy skills and a team-based care approach.
