Fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Sports Medicine with focus on Shoulder Arthroscopy joining St. Peters Orthopedics in the Capital Region of New York. Role includes sports medicine, shoulder arthroplasty and arthroscopy with surgeries at St. Peters Hospital (Albany) and Samaritan Hospital (Troy); hospital-employed practice with robust referral network and strong physician support teams. Opportunity to help build a new orthopedic service line, provide high-quality, team-based patient care, and enjoy a balanced work-life environment in a region offering outdoor recreation and family-friendly communities. Recruitment package includes a three-year guaranteed compensation of $725,000–$800,000, starting bonus of $25,000, relocation assistance up to $25,000, CME support, and PSLF qualification.
Required Qualifications
- Fellowship trained in Orthopedic Sports Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- 5-10 years of post-training experience
- Strong clinical and surgical skills in shoulder arthroscopy
- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
