Job Summary
Orthopedic Surgeon specialized in Sports Medicine with a focus on Shoulder Arthroscopy is being sought to join a brand-new hospital-employed orthopedic service in New York's Capital Region. The role involves performing surgeries at Albany and Troy hospitals, joining a growing team with strong referral networks, and helping build and grow a new service line. The position offers a comprehensive compensation package including a starting total compensation range of $725,000–$800,000, relocation assistance up to $25,000, CME allowances, malpractice tail coverage, and PSLF eligibility. Ideal candidates are fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Sports Medicine, board-certified or eligible in Orthopedic Surgery, with 5–10 years of post-training experience and proven skills in shoulder arthroscopy, committed to patient-centered, team-based care and contributing to a high-volume orthopedic program.
