Job Summary
Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (NP) needed for locum tenens support in outpatient setting. Responsibilities include seeing post-op/pre-op patients and follow-ups, managing total knee and total hip cases, performing cortisone injections, and interpreting X-rays. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week with 1 week of call every 4 weeks; credentialing timeframe 60 days. Practice setting is outpatient with focus on post-op/pre-op and follow-ups; must be Board Certified with GA license and BLS + DEA. Location: Atlanta, GA (Fulton County). AMN Healthcare provides malpractice insurance and handles travel/lodging/transportation logistics.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA)
- Board Certified
- active Georgia Medical License
