Job Summary
Provide PRN day shift coverage Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, across inpatient, outpatient, and clinic settings. Round on post-operative patients, manage inpatient and emergency department consults, and provide OR coverage. Handle clinical surgical and trauma/orthopedic call while utilizing EPIC EMR for documentation. Requires board certification and prescriptive authority; includes weeknight call PRN and 24-hour weekend call. The hub hospital serves 16 counties and offers regional orthopedic surgical services including total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements. Credentialing timeframe is estimated at 60 to 90 days.
