Orthopedic Surgery APP for 2027

Assess patient physical needs, order and interpret clinical test results, and prescribe medications while making therapeutic treatment recommendations. Plan and accomplish goals across various illnesses using extensive clinical judgment, creativity, and latitude. Function as a consultant, facilitator, educator, and resource person to defined patient populations and caregivers. Strengthen collaborative relationships with physicians, healthcare leaders, and nurses to improve patient and family outcomes along the care continuum. Requires a Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies, one year of clinical experience, and a current Kansas APRN or PA-C license.
