Job Summary
Orthopedic surgeon needed for locum tenens coverage in an inpatient and operating room setting with 24-hour call. The clinician will provide general orthopedic surgical coverage on an inpatient and OR basis, must be board-certified in orthopedic surgery, and be available for ongoing 24-hour call during assigned periods. On-site in Raleigh, North Carolina. Located at a facility utilizing MediTech EMR; no relocation details provided. Responsibilities include managing inpatient orthopedic cases as they arise with 0-3 consults per day and 0-2 visits, covering the full spectrum of general orthopedic procedures as part of a 24-hour call schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certification Required in Orthopedic Surgery
- MD or DO degree
- Active medical license in North Carolina or eligible for licensure
- Inpatient and OR coverage experience
- 24-hour call coverage experience
