Orthopedic Surgeon Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage at Facility in Kentucky

Provide comprehensive 24-hour call coverage managing inpatient and emergency department consultations at this Level 4 trauma center in Kentucky. Deliver clinic responsibilities from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, followed by surgical call coverage from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM. Perform core orthopedic surgical procedures including joint replacements for hips, knees, and shoulders, hand and foot fracture repairs, and potential pediatric cases. Manage 1-3 calls per 24-hour period while utilizing EPIC EMR for clinical documentation. Monthly assignments cover the 15th through the end of each month beginning August 2026, with a credentialing process of 30 to 45 days required for incoming clinicians.
