Job Summary
Orthopedic surgeon needed for 24-hour call coverage at a 25-bed, non-profit critical access hospital in Dickinson, ND. Responsibilities include performing orthopedic OR procedures, stabilizations, and splinting for ED patients during assigned call periods. Manage full scope of orthopedic surgical cases with ER call and OR duties; on-site, in-person assignment with ER and OR staff support. Board certification is negotiable; prescriptive authority not required. Location is on-site in Dickinson, North Dakota, with hospital-based patient care and radiology/clinical support as part of a regional health system.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO medical degree
- Board Certification (required or negotiable)
- Prerequisites: license to practice medicine in North Dakota or eligibility for licensure in ND
- Experience: orthopedic surgery experience preferred for locum coverage
