Job Summary
Provide 24-hour orthopedic surgical coverage including hip, shoulder, and knee joint revision or repair procedures. Manage clinic rounding and overnight calls with approximately 0–1 weekday calls and 2–4 weekend calls. Handle ER call and inpatient rounding within a hospital setting. Maintain long-term locum partnership with up to 10 days of coverage per month. Submit time entry via online portal.
Required Qualifications
- General ortho surgical and non-surgical skills
- Joint revision/repair -- hip, shoulder, and knee procedures
- Fri 7 am - Mon 7 am -- 24-hour coverage
- 8 hrs clinic/rounding plus overnight call
- approx. 0 - 1 calls per night on weekdays
- approx. 2 - 4 calls per weekend
- ER call
- inpatient rounding
- Long-term locum partnership -- up to 10 days of coverage per month
