Job Summary
Deliver direct clinical care and perioperative management for orthopedic trauma and complex foot/ankle cases, including ankle arthroplasties, with full midlevel provider and resident support. Lead, mentor, and teach within a thriving academic environment by participating in interdisciplinary programs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across the VA and community partners. Engage in ongoing quality improvement, specialty program development, and hospital committee work while enjoying robust call coverage and collegial backup from experienced colleagues. Practice at a 295-bed level 1a teaching hospital on the University of Arizona campus, serving veterans in Tucson, Arizona.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- MD/DO or equivalent
- completion of an ACGME-accredited residency
- Board Certified/Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Active, full, and unrestricted license in any U.S. state
Desired Qualifications
- Fellowship training or strong experience in foot and ankle surgery (including arthroplasty)
