Job Summary
Deliver direct clinical care and perioperative management for orthopedic trauma, specializing in complex foot and ankle cases including ankle arthroplasties. Lead, mentor, and teach within a thriving academic environment by instructing University of Arizona residents and participating in interdisciplinary programs. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across the VA and community partners while engaging in ongoing quality improvement, specialty program development, and hospital committee work. Work Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, supported by a team of experienced surgeons and midlevel professionals at a 295-bed level 1a teaching hospital.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- MD/DO or equivalent
- completion of an ACGME-accredited residency
- Board Certified/Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Active, full, and unrestricted license in any U.S. state
Desired Qualifications
- Fellowship training or strong experience in foot and ankle surgery (including arthroplasty)
