Job Summary
Deliver direct clinical care and perioperative management for orthopedic trauma, with expertise in foot and ankle surgery including ankle arthroplasties. Lead, mentor, and teach within a thriving academic environment by instructing University of Arizona orthopedic residents and participating in interdisciplinary programs. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across the VA and with community partners while participating in ongoing quality improvement, specialty program development, and hospital committee work. Practice at a 295-bed level 1a teaching hospital with full midlevel provider and resident support. Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship
- MD/DO or equivalent
- completion of an ACGME-accredited residency
- Board Certified/Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Active, full, and unrestricted license in any U.S. state
Desired Qualifications
- Fellowship training or strong experience in foot and ankle surgery (including arthroplasty)
