Job Summary
Provide general orthopedic surgical care including trauma with a shoulder subspecialty focus; lead service delivery improvements within the facility; supervise residents and mid-level practitioners; coordinate with internal and external providers for cohesive patient care; participate in hospital and departmental committees, educational programs, and the peer review process; engage in a collaborative call schedule with three other orthopedic surgeons; work alongside a team of six mid-level practitioners and an orthopedic resident; train orthopedic residents from the University of Arizona; schedule Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- United States Citizenship
- Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine
- Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in all the US States
- Successful completion of Residency Training in the USA
- Fellowship training in Shoulder surgery/ sports strongly preferred
- Board-certified or board-eligible orthopedic surgeon
