Job Summary
Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of patients requiring joint replacement care; perform operative and non-operative orthopedic services including total joint procedures; participate in call coverage and interdisciplinary team meetings; maintain compliance with VHA policies, documentation standards, and quality measures; engage in teaching, committee work, or process improvement initiatives as appropriate. Collaboration with dedicated OR block time, anesthesia and surgical staff; access to advanced imaging and on-site specialty services; potential academic involvement with regional partners.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in Arthroplasty (strongly preferred)
- Unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory
- U.S. citizenship (required)
