Job Summary
Orthopedic Surgeon role within the U.S. Army Medical Department; perform surgical and non-surgical care for Soldiers and their families with musculoskeletal conditions, engage in advanced orthopedic procedures and regenerative research, and pursue leadership development and humanitarian missions through Army or Army Reserve service.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited U.S. medical school or osteopathy program
- Permanent or unrestricted medical license to practice in the United States (DC or PR acceptable as specified)
- US citizenship required for Active Duty service
- Permanent U.S. residency required for Army Reserve
- Board eligibility or certification
- Completion of at least one year of approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
