Orthopedic Surgeon

Provide 24-hour call coverage for general orthopedic surgery, including emergency department coverage. Manage 0-3 daily consults and perform ED visits for closed reductions, admissions, and surgical procedures such as wrist, ankle, and hip fractures. Stabilize and transfer long bone trauma as necessary while maintaining accurate documentation in the MediTech EMR system. This locum tenens position requires board certification, NC licensure, and DEA registration, with mandatory BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered for this supplemental coverage from October 13–16, 2026.
