Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive biomechanical evaluations and movement assessments to determine effective treatment paths for athletes. Implement manual therapy techniques and develop progressive, evidence-based rehabilitation programs tailored to individual needs. Assess readiness for competition through advanced return-to-play testing and provide sport-specific training regimens. Collaborate closely with athletic trainers, orthopedic physicians, and performance specialists to create a multidisciplinary approach to care. Educate athletes on injury prevention strategies, recovery protocols, and long-term mobility improvement techniques. Work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM with performance incentives and a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) license in Nevada, or eligibility for licensure
- Deep passion for sports medicine, biomechanics, and evidence-based rehabilitation practices
- Proficiency in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional performance training methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with a client-focused mindset that prioritizes athlete well-being
- Comfort and competence in both rehabilitative settings and return-to-sport scenarios
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications such as Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) or Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS)
- A background in athletic training or experience in collegiate and professional sports rehabilitation settings
- Familiarity with advanced methodologies such as blood flow restriction training, dry needling, and the use of sport-specific technology
