Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical limits and capabilities, then design and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing therapeutic techniques and modalities. Educate patients and families on exercise, self-care strategies, and lifestyle modifications while developing and monitoring strength and conditioning programs for safe return-to-sport protocols. Collaborate with physicians, strength and conditioning specialists, and nutritionists to provide comprehensive care, continuously updating knowledge through ongoing education on advancements in physical therapy practices. Serve active individuals ranging from local athletes to elite competitors, assisting with injury recovery and performance optimization. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM at our state-of-the-art Las Vegas facility.
Required Qualifications
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Nevada
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, particularly in sports physical therapy and orthopedic rehabilitation
- Excellent communication skills that facilitate effective interactions with patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals
- A solid foundation in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting
- A genuine commitment to providing high-quality patient care with a focus on successful outcomes
Desired Qualifications
- Additional experience in advanced sports therapy techniques
- Strength and conditioning practices
- Completed additional training and education
- An interest in furthering education through certifications, residency, or fellowship training via IAR Education Systems
