Job Summary
Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon to join Luminis Health Orthopedics in Prince George's County, MD. Fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible; perform arthroscopic/open procedures involving the knee, shoulder, hip, elbow, and ankle; provide care for local school and community athletic programs (preferred, not required); participate in call coverage; document clinical activity in the EHR; participate in quality improvement, meetings, and continuing education; optional involvement in teaching or research through academic affiliations.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency
- Fellowship training in Orthopedic Sports Medicine
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Active Maryland medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Proficiency in arthroscopic techniques, with experience in ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, labral repairs, meniscal surgery, and cartilage restoration
