Job Summary
Conduct shoulder and knee arthroscopy, complex ligament reconstruction, and joint replacement surgeries while managing 25-40 daily clinic patients and 4-8 hospital procedures. Lead the growth of the sports medicine service line by expanding offerings to include elbow and hip arthroscopy, alongside trauma care for long bone and hip fractures. Perform outpatient pediatric sports procedures and hand surgery, collaborating with specialists for spine cases. Operate Monday through Friday with no evening or weekend hours, utilizing on-site equipment including CPMs and advanced surgical tables. Join a well-established orthopedic group with a strong referral network and teaching opportunities with Ohio University.
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon
- Fellowship-trained in sports medicine
- Expertise in shoulder and knee arthroscopy
- Interest in expanding services to include elbow and hip arthroscopy
- Ability to perform advanced procedures such as shoulder and knee arthroscopy
- Ability to perform complex ligament reconstruction and/or revision
- Ability to perform meniscal debridement and repair
- Ability to perform chondroplasty and cartilage restoration
- Ability to perform rotator cuff/labral repairs
- Ability to perform primary and revision joint arthroplasty including knee, hip, and shoulder replacement
- Ability to perform carpal and cubital tunnel release
- Ability to perform compression neuropathy management
- Ability to perform soft tissue mass excisions and thumb CMC arthroplasty
- Ability to perform arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder
- Ability to perform patellofemoral realignment
- Ability to perform chondral lesion management
- Ability to perform fracture care and benign lesion excision
- Ability to perform ankle arthroscopy
- Ability to perform ligament repair/reconstruction
- Ability to perform Clinical Adjunct Faculty status with Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine
